102: the LWD
poplin, lace, raime, and crochet
Summer is my favorite time of year. One of its many gifts is that wearing sheer white nightdresses in the daytime becomes somewhat more socially acceptable.
This cotton dress with lace trim from Damson Madder is great for errands in the city. The belt bag lets you go bag-free for dog walks or coffee runs. I styled it with my everyday black ballet flats. Simple, elegant, and practical.

To me, nothing goes better together than black sunglasses and white sundresses. I like this light-as-air babydoll from Free People. It’s super sheer and short, my preference by the way, but you’re probably going to want to layer it with another slip. I also like little shorts and a tube top underneath. To cut through the softness, I wore dramatic frames for a little edge.

This look is from a wedding, not mine, where the dress code called for guests to wear white. I chose a strapless Magda Butrym dress with beautiful crochet lace detailing. To keep it from feeling too bridal, I paired it with a surf-inspired puka shell necklace from Isabel Marant that I’ve had for five or six years. This one has a similar feel or I really like this one.

I finally got to wear my Marles Grace clutch filled with my essentials. And of course, my Warby Parker Boaz sunnies I hardly ever take off.
I styled my Don’t Let Disco anklet with vintage Gucci by Tom Ford sandals I picked up last summer from The RealReal. I found a red pair on Vestiaire I’m keeping my eye on, and this identical pair in cream.
There are few things I love more in life than a fabulous sun hat. This one from Jacquemus is the right mix of wearable and dramatic.
Styled here with a lace nightgown from Free People, classic black shades, and Celine ballet sneakers.
Some of my favorite white dress moments prove less is more.
Simple and sweet like Jane in cotton nightgowns.
Minimal and chic like ’90s Kate Moss in Prada and Calvin Klein.

Romantic layers from vintage Miu Miu.

Clean and fresh from Celine SS26 by Michael Rider.
Easy, breezy, beautiful.
