half baked 006
dirty shirts, spring dreams, and modern art
Better late than never. My motto this week. You’re never behind. You’re right on time.
Here are January screenshots.
Go Green
I saw this Hermès knit on someone’s IG story and had to screenshot immediately. Look 45 from the Fall/Winter 2025 runway. It’s actually a dress. I can’t find it available anywhere, which almost makes it better.
This Celine comb and case via mirrormirrorparis stopped me cold. The color. The concept. Not the price.
If you love it, there’s a maroon version online. I also found a cute vintage set on eBay and a very fun Emilio Pucci option.
With all the scarves and turtlenecks this season, a travel comb feels less like an accessory and more like infrastructure.

These green stripe PJs from Airelles Collection via Martha Pirrie are technically from September but somehow landed in my January screenshots folder.
They’re not available anymore, but there are darling plaid sets (here or here). If you’re committed to green stripes, Comme Si (shirt + pants) and Lunya (shirt + pants) both deliver.
Dirty Shirt
Prada sent “dirty” shirts down the men’s runway. I translated it as commentary on buying an interesting life versus living one, but there’s also the fact that these were dress shirts, which are traditionally a sign of importance and cleanliness.
I’m into the contrast and the cuff links. I think the pastel striped French cuff shirts are really notable. It’s pretty much impossible to find one on the market right now.
Reject perfection, embrace living your life.
All Tied Up
Bows are classic, but I think we’re about to see a resurgence in a real way. My feed is flooded.
Toteme Fall Winter 26 styled hair into literal bow shapes that remind me of Lady Gaga 2009. I love the drama of it all.
We’ve seen bow details at Dior and Valentino. Adore the mix of sweet and structured in this look from Re/Done.

Kiss Me
An ad for Lover’s Lip Blur by Apple Doll caught my eye. Gel base, just-kissed, blurred effect. I’m intrigued. Is this something I can achieve by smudging what I already own? Or is it worth a dedicated product? If you’ve tried it, report back.
