093: new arrivals
european summer propaganda, new handbags from the row, and markdown-induced psychosis
Happy Friday! I’m writing this from my couch, where I’ve been sweating it out for the past two days battling some sort of mystery spring illness. I might be the first woman to die from intense allergies, but let’s hope not.
This weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, though every year that feels less and less true. Fashion and the general consumer mindset have been in full vacation mode since late March, and this week’s roundup is no exception. If only the weather could keep up. Here’s what’s new.
Mansur Gavriel dropped a limited-edition Rainbow Mini Filo in patchwork leather. Great size, great shape, fun use of color. Their summer capsule keeps the statement bag trend going with pieces like this limited-edition Pascucci bag, hand-stamped with a custom lemon motif from Stamperia’s archive.
Isabel Marant x Havaianas stud sandals already sold out online after debuting in early access yesterday, though there may still be in-store availability. Predictable, honestly. It’s the exact kind of flat, slightly bohemian, beach-to-bar sandal people want right now. The ikat print style is still available online, but probably not for long.
AURALEE × New Balance 204L early release is today. If you missed the online raffle window this week, they’ll be in select stores next Friday, May 29. Available in two colorways: a deep, rich purple dubbed “Dark Brown” and a sporty ’90s color story called “White Lime.”
Tory Burch’s summer collection is live, full of cerulean blues and floral motifs. Plus, the Splash roll out has pool-ready pastel jelly Miller sandals, beach totes, and nostalgic Mary Janes.
Métier introduced their Vacation Shop, full of everything you need for your next getaway. The Cala 42 is a standout, as is the bold pollen yellow Market Tote. I’m also excited by the beach games, including this zebra print card set.
The Staud Summer Collection is made for eating pasta seaside in the Mediterranean. Elevated takes on their existing fish motif, even translated into flip-flops. I’m especially excited about the Endless Summer print mini dress, which reminds me so much of the iconic Chanel Summer 2002 surf dress. And this wicker tote is kind of giving picnic Birkin.
The Row Astra bag resurfaced this week in a slightly smaller size and is already gone from nearly every website. At $1,850, down from the original $2,400, the girlies were obviously ready. A few other great handbags showed up this week, including this raffia clutch and the large Cecily with tassel detail.
Blue Lagoon Iceland launched their BL+ Cleansing Balm, designed to dissolve makeup, impurities, and daily pollutants while strengthening the skin barrier. It also nourishes skin, lashes, and brows, then rinses clean for soft, refreshed, radiant skin.
Kosas unveiled the Impressionist Multistick, a creamy formula for cheeks and lips that glides on, melts into skin, and builds a natural flushed-from-within look that lasts. I’ve been wearing the shade MUSE this week.

COME SALE AWAY
Net-a-Porter
The sale section is dangerously good right now. The Calvin Klein Collection Naomi strapless wool midi dress feels like something Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy would wear to a gallery opening in 1997. Also eyeing the Jude Knotty leather sandals, the JW Anderson asymmetric lace mini skirt paired with the cropped waxed jacket, and the crisp perfection that is the TWP Big Joe shirt.
The Posse Danielle lace-trimmed skort is very “summer in a borrowed house in Menorca.” Also cannot stop thinking about the Suzie Kondi Jooshi cashmere sweater and the Brandon Maxwell Mercer checked midi skirt which was literally just on the Spring runway.
Khaite
Eyeing the Cyclone earrings for a brutalist wedding I’m attending in a couple weeks and the forever chic Jameson jacket. Also, one of my favorite spring sweaters is included in the sale. The “Zest” colorway is the exact shade of yellow I want to wear while pretending I summer in the South of France while sipping Hugo spritzes on a patio in Brooklyn.
The RealReal
The Real Big Sale is fully testing my self control and these are some precious finds from my current obsessions, all under $200.
Tory Burch
A navy sequin skirt that deserves a rooftop martini, perfect 90s frames, and floral heels I would absolutely pair with that dress even if everyone told me not to.
Emme Parsons
Espresso leather fisherman sandals and a pair of slides that feel extremely Phoebe Philo-era Celine coded in the best possible way.
Mansur Gavriel
This tote also feels very old Celine in spirit, plus I’m into these simple little heeled flip flops for peak summer in the city.
Toteme
The red trench of the season, a winter wonderland-level stunner, the skirt of my dreams, and a bag that has been sitting in my cart since Christmas.
Shopbop
These sparkly Christopher Esber party heels, a perfect white Missoni bikini, a Liffner bowling bag, a spring sweater tee by Jil Sander, and baseball stitch sandals – go Mets?!
Moda Operandi
Channel Jane Birkin and Bella Hadid at Cannes Film Festival in this dress by The Garment. Have a little fun in a beaded Zankov top. These tiny cashmere shorts are already in my bag. Beach babe material across the board.
Bonus: I’ve also always wanted a Blazé Milano jacket and this JW Anderson canvas anchor tote is cute as hell.
Borrow this bag for a month (or any other you dream of) on me with code STYLETOAST.
That’s all I’ve got. Time to put the credit card on ice.
Stay toasted, xx.
