I practiced almost total neutrality last month. Black, white, grey, and a little blue.

It’s interesting to record what you wear every day. I think it gives you a much clearer understanding of your personal style and, more importantly, what actually looks good on you. Once you know your default, it’s much easier to push beyond it.

After reviewing last month’s outfits, I realized I could step things up a notch. It’s been almost too hot to wear clothes, so I’ve leaned on the same easy formulas. But I think I have a solid understanding of the silhouettes I gravitate toward, and I’m ready to venture a little further outside my comfort zone.

My most worn items were Thistles Malone Sunglasses, The Row Didion Tote + City Flip Flops + Link Sandals, and an old AYR shirt (similar).

I only managed one wear out of my Ekhaus Latta x H&M dress before I accidentally washed it. I’m crossing my fingers the dry cleaner can work some magic. If not, at least it looked really good while it lasted.

I wore this to a roof top pool on the hottest day of the year. Walking there I really regretted the white shirt, but was glad I had it when we went to dinner after.

The weather did a complete 180 after the heat wave. Suddenly it was cool enough for a barn jacket and a sweatshirt. Wore this for a bagel run with my sister.
